This new build was for a lovely client, and her family, living in the heart of Mangere. They arranged the old house to be moved off the site and we worked with them to design, plan and build their new home.

This client was a dream to work with, they knew exactly what they wanted and had a very clear vision on style and look – although they did work with our colour consultant to get it 100%. We love how the black and white look turned out, the kitchen is a show-stopper! This home is so family friendly and functional, perfect for their family living.

This home was custom designed and built for a client with an existing site in Half Moon Bay.

Our client was living in the existing house, which was positioned to the front of the site, and wanted to build a larger, modern home – large enough that family would be able to stay with her when visiting from overseas.  Riva helped her design a home that had both upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and living, with a central kitchen area upstairs for the family to enjoy together.

Neutral tones were selected throughout this two-story weatherboard home, allowing flexibility with decor and giving it that “fresh and understated”, yet modern, look.

This home was an architecturally designed, plaster home that Riva completely  reclad and renovated. It’s wooden flooring and ceiling details were existing features that were able to be re-polished with a mat finish – and wow, it’s pretty impressive!

The home features an internal swimming pool, gym, sauna, three living areas, four bedrooms and five bathrooms/toilets! It is four storey and set across seven split levels. The photo’s really do not do it justice.

This home is a second dwelling on an existing site.

Our client wanted to build a nice granny home for their parents to live in at the bottom of their section. We worked with them to design a two bedroom, nicely spec’d home, that’s all single level living and easily accessible. These lucky Grandparents get to see their family everyday and look out to beautiful views across Waiheke, all amongst the small community vibe of Maraetai.

This beautifully appointed home is located on the water in the prestigious Karaka Harbourside.  This two story weatherboard design was created alongside our customers, who worked with us right from the planning stage.

One of the deign focuses for this build was to suit the lifestyle of an older family, meaning the master bedroom and living areas were positioned downstairs and easily accessed. The open plan kitchen is a feature in the living area. These particular clients love to cook and entertain their extended family in this large purpose-built downstairs space. Because this is a “forever” home, this client selected quality fixtures and fittings creating a lovely complete home that can be enjoyed now, and in the future.

This project was for an astute investor client. The site was located on Mt Wellington highway, very close to many great facilities and transport options. Although a large shared driveway and busy main road created some challenges, we were able to work with these and complete three quality townhouses – at a nice specification, suitable for a good investment property.

If you are an investor, Riva is able to help with your development or investment build requirements. We have completed many developments and subdivisions, planning is part of what we offer in-house. We are investors ourselves and understand the rules and regulations in this area. If you are new to development, Gerad really walks the talk and can get you on the right track with a site assessment or general catch up to discuss your ideas and plans.

We know how stressful a leaky home can be and we’re here to help! We have completed many reclads – including our very own home. Gerad is an expert in this field.

Get in touch for an honest assessment and chat about the potential costs involved in recladding your home. Sometimes fixing the issues is worth it in the long run and can be more cost advantageous than trying to sell (for usually under market rates) and buy again.
